Handmade doll clothes fit dolls in the 26-29 cm length range. The dolls shown in the photo have a fabric body, length 26 and 28 cm. Waist circumference 19 cm. Head circumference 24 and 25 cm. The set includes: - a sweatshirt-fabric romper with a hood, with closed feet. Hook-and-loop fastening on the front. Material: cotton knit. The clothes are very carefully sewn, seams are finished, and small details are hand-sewn. The fastenings are hook-and-loop tape or snaps, to give the child a chance to learn to open and close them. Care: The clothes can be machine washed on a gentle wash program, in a mesh laundry bag. Do not iron. How to measure a baby doll: lay the baby doll flat on a ruler. You don't need to account for curves along the back or around the knees. Measure the doll in a straight line from head to toe. Baby doll clothes are cut loose enough and long enough to accommodate its bent arms and legs. Playing with dolls develops both creativity and empathy in children. Working with small garments and their various fastenings develops children's fine motor skills. Fine motor skills are the coordination of hands and eyes, and the dexterity and precision of finger movement. Fine motor skills are important for the development of a child's perception, attention, memory, thinking, speech, and also reading ability.

We recommend washing woolen and linen handmade products by hand in lukewarm water with a gentle detergent, and drying them laid flat. Avoid hard wringing, heat and the tumble dryer so the item keeps its shape and colour.

Mailis Design products have supported various youth sports and cultural events, scouts and the local village society, Tallinn Zoo, children with cancer, homeless animals, large families and more.
