Handmade doll clothes fit baby dolls in the length 36-40 cm. The dolls shown in the photo are 36, 37 and 40 cm. Head circumference 33 and 34 cm. The set includes: - a Christmas dress, red and gold, the skirt part red with gold dots, a small red bow at the front, snap fasteners on the back. Material: cotton jersey. The clothes are very carefully sewn, seams finished, and small details sewn by hand. The fastenings are zippers, hook-and-loop tape or snap fasteners, to give the child a chance to learn to open and close them. The ribbons on tracksuits are decorative, helping the child tell the front from the back of the clothing. Care: The clothes may be washed in the washing machine on the gentle wash program, in a mesh bag. Do not iron. How to measure a baby doll: lay the baby doll flat on a ruler. You do not need to account for curves under the back or around the knees. Measure the doll in a straight line from head to toes. Baby doll clothes have a loose enough cut and are long enough to accommodate its bent arms and legs. Playing with dolls develops both creativity and empathy in children. Handling small clothes and their various fastenings develops children's fine motor skills. Fine motor skills are the coordination of hands and eyes, and the agility and precision of finger movements. Fine motor skills are important for a child's development of perception, attention, memory, thinking, speech, and reading ability.

How do I care for woolen and linen products?
We recommend washing woolen and linen handmade products by hand in lukewarm water with a gentle detergent, and drying them laid flat. Avoid hard wringing, heat and the tumble dryer so the item keeps its shape and colour.
Do you make custom orders?
Yes, we're happy to make products to order — for example in the colour, size or with the embroidery you want. Get in touch and we'll talk through your wishes.

In my work I place great emphasis on quality and sustainability. I mainly sew handmade products for the home, office, kindergarten, school and as gift bags, using leftovers from large-scale production and materials sourced from second-hand shops (upcycled/zero-waste).
Mailis Design products have supported various youth sports and cultural events, scouts and the local village society, Tallinn Zoo, children with cancer, homeless animals, large families and more.
