Handmade doll clothes for dolls 43-48 cm tall, with a body circumference of max 34 cm. The clothes have no fastenings. To dress the doll, raise its arms and pull the top over both the arms and head at once. The ribbons are decorative, helping the child tell the front and back of the clothes apart. The doll shown in the photo is 45 cm tall, with a body circumference of 29 cm. The set includes: a sweatshirt and jogger trousers. Material: cotton Oeko-Tex jersey, synthetic ribbons. Care: gentle machine wash at 30C. Do not iron, the synthetic ribbons cannot take heat. *** The clothes are very carefully sewn, the seams are finished, and the fastenings and small details are sewn by hand. These doll clothes are suitable both for adding to a doll clothing collection and for children to play with. Playing with dolls develops both creativity and empathy in children. Working with tiny clothes and their various fastenings develops children's fine motor skills. Fine motor skills are the coordination of hands and eyes, and the dexterity and precision of finger movements. Fine motor skills are important for a child's development of perception, attention, memory, thinking, speech, and also reading ability.

We recommend washing woolen and linen handmade products by hand in lukewarm water with a gentle detergent, and drying them laid flat. Avoid hard wringing, heat and the tumble dryer so the item keeps its shape and colour.

In my work I place great emphasis on quality and sustainability. I mainly sew handmade products for the home, office, kindergarten, school and as gift bags, using leftovers from large-scale production and materials sourced from second-hand shops (upcycled/zero-waste).
Mailis Design products have supported various youth sports and cultural events, scouts and the local village society, Tallinn Zoo, children with cancer, homeless animals, large families and more.
