Handmade dress for dolls in the 43-48 cm length range, body circumference max 35 cm. The dress is cotton, with cotton lace. There is a snap fastener on the back. The doll in the photo is 45 cm long, body circumference 29 cm. Dress length from shoulder to hem is 25 cm. Dress waist circumference is 38 cm. Material: cotton Oeko-Tex jersey, synthetic lace. Care: gentle machine wash 30C. Do not iron, the lace cannot withstand heat. *** The clothes are very carefully sewn, the seams are finished, and the fasteners and tiny details are hand-sewn. These doll clothes are suitable both for adding to a doll-clothes collection and for children to play with. Playing with dolls develops children's creativity as well as empathy. Handling small clothes and their various fasteners develops children's fine motor skills. Fine motor skills are the coordination of hands and eyes, and the agility and precision of finger movement. In my work I place great emphasis on quality and sustainability. I mainly sew handmade products for the home, office, kindergarten, school and as gift bags, using leftovers from large-scale production and materials sourced from second-hand shops (upcycled/zero-waste).
Mailis Design products have supported various youth sports and cultural events, scouts and the local village society, Tallinn Zoo, children with cancer, homeless animals, large families and more.
