Handmade doll clothes together with a vintage doll. The doll was bought from a second-hand store, washed and refurbished, and new clothes were sewn for it. The doll in this set is free. The clothes are very carefully sewn, the seams are finished, and some fasteners and small details are hand-sewn. The set includes 16 items: 1. Christmas dress, red with gold decorations + white tights 2. Floral summer dress + underpants 3. Knitted sweater + pompom beret + twisted headband + long scarf 4. Pajama top and bottoms, mint green, with lions 5. Sweatshirt and trousers, black-pink 6. Rain jacket + rain trousers with straps + pink top 7. Boots. These doll clothes are suitable both for adding to a doll clothes collection and for children to play with. Playing with dolls develops both creativity and empathy in children. Handling small garments and their various fasteners develops children's fine motor skills. Fine motor skills are the cooperation of hands and eyes, the dexterity and precision of finger movement. Fine motor skills are important for the development of a child's perception, attention, memory, thinking, speech, and also reading ability. Material: cotton jersey, wool-blend yarn, water-repellent fabric on the rain clothes. Boots made of faux leather. Fasteners: buttons and snaps, to give the child the chance to learn to open and close them. Care: The clothes can be washed in the washing machine on a gentle wash program, in a mesh bag. Hand wash the knitted items with a wool detergent.

Can I return or exchange a product?
Yes, products bought from the online shop have a 14-day right of return from the date you receive them. The item must be unused and in its original condition. Items made specially to order cannot be returned.
How do I care for woolen and linen products?
We recommend washing woolen and linen handmade products by hand in lukewarm water with a gentle detergent, and drying them laid flat. Avoid hard wringing, heat and the tumble dryer so the item keeps its shape and colour.

In my work I place great emphasis on quality and sustainability. I mainly sew handmade products for the home, office, kindergarten, school and as gift bags, using leftovers from large-scale production and materials sourced from second-hand shops (upcycled/zero-waste).
Mailis Design products have supported various youth sports and cultural events, scouts and the local village society, Tallinn Zoo, children with cancer, homeless animals, large families and more.
